First Look Friday Participant
I am Laila, a Lake Oswego, Oregon based artist. My paintings are a celebration of cheerful, vivid colors inspired by the beauty of Oregon and my journeys around the world. My work draws from the influence of art masters, a global perspective, and my training in Feng Shui and Ikebana, allowing me to create unique Oil , Acrylic, and Textile pieces that blend abstract and modern styles. My hope is to bring joyful colors into your space. I create art to spark happiness, wonder, and connection.
Art is my way of sharing joy—one bright brushstroke at a time.
Laila taught Art Literacy in the Lake Oswego School system for 15 years. She is a member of Oregon Society of Artists, and has exhibited locally and nationally since 2008, including in the Lake Oswego Festival of Arts, the Lake Oswego Public Library, the Arts Council of Lake Oswego, the Beaverton City Hall, the Oregon City City Hall, and the Massachusetts State House.
