I have been creating art as a working artist since 1984. My oil pastel work has been shown in galleries, used in advertising, and reproduced as prints and on products. I am also the author/illustrator of children's books. I now work in acrylic gouache and metal leaf. And animals are my subject matter. I focus on their gaze so the viewer can have a kind of interaction--a recognition that we all share this amazing planet.
